France - Last Round Preview and Payment Picks

Our subscribers received the bets last night, so I think we can post today what we have written to them about the France's Ligue1 last round. There are only two things in France that the teams are fighting for. PSG and Lyon for a champions league place while 6 other teams to save from relegation. Below you will see my view on the weekend bets and who I think will get the CL place and who will relegated.

St Etienne - PSG -> 2 @ 1.82 with 188bet

Some words about why i will take this bet. First, St Etienne hate Lyon, the direct rivals of PSG for a Champions League place. It is widely known in france this rivalry. Have read at bettingadvice that the president of Lyon said that St Etienne will play in European Cups on playstation :) So, in this last game I really don't see any motivation for St Etienne to win the game. I tend to think they will do something to lose if PSG can't by themselves, but I don't think it's the case. PSG are one class over St Etienne at the moment.

Lyon are passing a rough moment and they will have a very hard game away at Monaco. The latter fights and has the last chance to avoid relegation. So there will be too things to look for in the weekend. Monaco, a club with lots of history in Ligue 1 will relegate or Lyon will miss CL after many years in a row playing there. I tend to think that Monaco will fight for their lives, so PSG has the best chance to get the CL spot in the last game. If you don't take the odds now, it will surely fall around 1.7 mark.

Caen - Marseille

Ok, after looking a bit over the matches I decided also to bet on the candidate that i see to relegate instead of Monaco. Caen, of course. They have the most difficult match out of the bunch. The rest can share draws and still get in front, but Caen will play with Marseille, a team that hasn't got something to play, but having in mind that Caen won the first game in autumn 2-1, they would go for revenge or at least save Monaco from the relegation experience. Again, I really don't think that a club with so much history will relegate.

Of course, odds are good for straight win, but they could do with just a draw.
