The last game on saturday, 25th Jagiellonia will face in their own stadium Widzew Lodz.

Being in 2nd place in the table Jagiellonia still has three points to catch Wisla, while last week they blew a very good chance to catch up with them. They lost surprisingly with Polonia Bytom (2-3). This result doesn't give confidence to the players before the next matches.

Widzew are also coming from a defeat (0-1) away with Legia. It was the first defeat in five matches for Czeslaw Michniewicz's team who is now six points above the relegation zone. They have as objective to win at least one point in this game. However, this will be very difficult, because Jagiellonia lost only two points this season in front of their fans while Widzew won only 3 points away from home.

Jagiellonia will be able to play with almost the strongest squad. Grzelak will be the only player who will not play.

Widzew on the other hand are seriously weakened. Defender S. Ben Radhia(11/0), midfielders R. Riski(6/0) and P. Grischok(13/0) are injured while midfielder M. Panka(20/1) is suspended.

Occupying tenth place in the league table Lech Poznan can not afford to stumble again. They would want to gain the right to play in Europa the next season, but that means they would need to win this game against Gornik Zabrze.

On Tuesday Lech lost the chance to qualify for Europa League losing in a penalty shootout the CUp final with Legia Warsaw. Thus, the team are in a difficult position. To have at least hopes of Europa League they need to win this game. Under the leadership of Jose Mari Bakero Lech won just one point from the last two games. Today, they will have home advantage where they suffered only one defeat the whole season, but there is an uncertainty that fans will be allowed at the stadium because of a ban given by authorities that however can be lifted by tomorrow.

In the second meeting on Saturday, Slask will face Polonia Bytom on their own stadium. Slask are of course favourites and they have high hopes of catching a place in a European Competition.

Slask are on fourt place in the league table and have the same points as Lechia Gdansk. In the last two games they won six points and confirmed that the defeat at home to Korona Kielce was merely an accident.

Polonia come in this game after an important win on home soil 3-2 to Jagiellonia. With this win Goralczyk's team increased the lead over the relegation zone. Now Polonia's players are hoping that they can make another surprise and win at least one point at Worclaw. Add a comment

In Saturday's first meeting in the 25th round of Ekstraklasa Cracovia will take at home on Polonia Warsaw. For both teams, this is a very important duel. For Cracovia could be a key meeting in their struggle to avoid relegation while for the black shirts winning the game will bring them closer to a European competition place.

After a very good start of the spring round, Cracovia took only 4 points from the last 5 games and the situation got even more complicated being 4 points away from Arka of Gdina. Any slip will now bring them closer to relegation.

Cracovia hope to use their home stadium to their advantage being unbeaten here since 5th of November. Now they want to maintain the very good run, but certainly will not be easy. Add a comment

In the first meeting of 25th round Ruch will take on Zaglebie at their home stadium. Considering the form in this spring sessions favourites for the game are the proteges of coach Waldemar Fornalik(Ruch).

In recent weeks Ruch are doing really well, suffering just one defeat in the last 7 games and won no more than 5 games. A week ago Waldemar's team defeated Cracovia at home. After this game they went up on the 7th place in the league table with 2 points less than the team on 3rd place: Lechia Gdansk. They will profit from their home stadium form where this season suffered only 2 defeats.

This is one of the most interesting games of the 25th round in Ekstraklassa. Both teams have team problems in front of this game.

One thing is sure, Legia can play in the last six games in the league without pressure. Macieja Skorza's team won the Polish cup after a penalty shootout where they were better than Lech Poznan. Although the players promise to fight in the games that are left to play they will do it without a certain objective in mind.

Legia enjoyed in the last weekend the first victory in the league in 5 games. They beat at home modest Widzew Lodz. Although they got a positive result the game of Legia left a lot to be desired and we are not sure we will see a significant improvement neither today. It is possible that this form could be sufficient to overcome Korona who is performing badly in this spring session.

Today in the stadium of Bydgoszczy we will find out who wins this season's Polish Cup. Lech Poznan will meet Legia Warszawa having of course as stake not only the tropy, but also the right to play in Europa League next season.

Both teams don't do very well in the league this season, despite both having the chance to take a European Cup place by placing themselves on the 3rd place but it is definitely more easy to win the Polish Cup to get there. Lech and Legia's players realize that the outcome of today's game could decide the future of many of them.

Legia done better in the game they had before this game, winning against Widzew with 1-0. Coach Maciej is very happy that his team managed their first league win in five meetings. It should be noted, however, that in the game the team didn't play so well and their game left a lot to be desired. Fans that gathered in the stands did not hide the disappointment and did not spare whistling in the direction of their team.

In Sunday's first meeting in the 24th round of Ekstraklasa Ruch Chorzow will take on the last in the table Cracovia. Both teams hope to gain three points in this confrontation.

Blues in 23 previous meetings, gathered 31 points. They are eight points clear above the relegation zone, so they no longer need to worry about the drop. The advantage of this team has developed thanks to winning four of the last six meetings. Now has to prove good shape before a home crowd.

This game will be some kind of little derby. Both teams are looking for a European Cup spot. Polonia is performing well, led by coach Jacek Zielinski. Blackshirts have won four consecutive meetings, and in the last three have not concedeed even one goal. With a good attitude Polonia advanced to fourth place in the table and has only two points to recover to reach 3rd placed Lechia Gda?sk.

On Saturday the Black Shirts will want to confirm the high form presented in recent weeks. In the last two games in front of home crowd Polonia won 1-0 with Lech Poznan, and smashed the Ark of Gdynia 4-0. Today, the victory will not be easy because Slask is performing well in the recent weeks too.

In one of the Saturday meetings in 24th round of Ekstraklasa Polonia Bytom will welcome Jagiellonia in their own stadium. The clear favorite to win this duel are proteges of Michala Probierza, who regained the hope of winning the championship title.

Jagiellonia until recently was eight points behind the leading Wisla Krakow in the table. Then coach Michala Probierza already congratulated the players for their good games they made in recent weeks. They have three consecutive wins and reduced the gap to 4 points and the talk of winning the championship title has began at the team. In the last three games, Jagiellonia played solidly in defence, not conceeding one goal and was also quite effective on the offensive too. Now, players from Bialystok, hope to maintain the streak.
