Poland Ekstraklasa - Polonia Warsaw vs Lech

Former Ekstraklasa champions will be going to Warsaw tonight to battle against the local team - Polonia. "Czarne Koszule" had put an end to their bad performances and with the aid of new coach Jacek Zielinski they have conquered Korona Kielce last week in an away match won 3:1. However Polonia played a very simple scheme of football and tactics were poor. They conceded in the 2nd minute. This looked like another loss for this team. In the 7th minute they scored, then in the 13th and by the 17th minute it was 3:1 for Polonia. Jacek Zielinski is a good coach. He won the championship with Lech last year so this will be a personal battle for him, mainly because he was sacked before the game with Manchester City.
Besides that Lech are quality team. They might have been in a crisis for some time but as the final weeks of the ekstraklasa approach, they will have to pick up a notch and improve their results.

Polonia won with Korona last week pretty comfortably but game with Lech will show how good they are at the moment. This game is very important for both coaches as both not long time ago worked for their respective rivals. Polonia should win this or at least not lose this one becasue of what Bakero, Lech coach said on press conference before this game. He said that Lech is in middle of changes, starting from changing tactic, style of play, player rotation and ending on bacis trainig methods. Polonia also changed coach not long ago but his changes were only on mental side as some players like Mierzejewski or Smolarek were in very bad mood before coach change and were the best in last game. Another advantage is that Lech played in midweek in Polish cup against Podbeskidzie. Polonia will miss Mynar and Sadlok while Lech will be without Rudnevs which is huge blow for their offence.
