Poland Cup - Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biala vs Lech Poznan

On Tuesday we will know the first finalist of the Polish Cup. Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biala and Lech Poznan will meet in the second leg of the semifinals. The first game ended with an unexpected draw (1-1).

Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biala is by far the biggest surprise of the current edition of the Polish Cup. In the qurterfinals, the team led by Robert Goralczyk eliminated after a dramatic struggle Wisla Krakow and now has a good chance of making the next surprise. The first meeting, which was played on April the 5th in Poznan ended 1-1.

Thus the underdog has a really great chance to progress. One must remember that players from Bielsko-Biala, haven't lost yet this season in front of their fans. The team currently ranks first in the 2nd League and they are favourite do advance to Ekstraklasa. However, recently, Podbeskydi dissapointed obtaining 2 goales draws in the last two rounds.

Lech enters this game with morale high after the win over Legia Warsaw. With this win Lech advanced to fourth place, having the same points as Lechia Gdansk. Players from Poznan although being with a foot already in European Competitions tend to fight also in the Polish Cup.
