Poland Cup - Legia vs Lechia
Game to be played @ 18:30 CET
On Wednesday, the second finalist will be chosen for the Polish Cup tournament. Afther the first game, Legia Warsaw are closer to advance to the final, winning 1-0.
In the first match in Gdansk the score remained 0-0 until the 88th minute when Michael Kucharczyk scored for the guests. Lechia will want to make up for the loss and try a surprise in Warsaw.
Both team lost in recent weeks in the league although, Lechia is still ranked third in the league table but in the last 4 games has won just two points. Even worse, Legia in the last 5 games won just 1 point.
Wednesday's outcome could decide the future of coach Matthew of Legia. The team may have problems to fight for a place in European competitions. They would want the short road to european cups so a win tomorrow is on everybody's lips in Warsaw.
Lechia's coach Thomas Kafarski will field the same players as in the league encounter with Gornik Zabre. Compared to the first match Lechia will welcome back midfielder Luke Surma(22/0). Legia on the other hand will have the strongest team available.
Again, be careful because this is a cup game. Last week they had a scoreless draw until the 88th minute. Now the game could end with a draw, Legia will still go through and we see them as the likely team to advance in the final.
