Korona vs Ruch

Game to be played @ 14:45 CET

In the first match that will take place today, Korona Kielce will face Ruch Chorszow. Favourite for the duel are the hosts who will want to extend their wins to two in a row.

Last week they broke the streak of ten consecutive matches without win. They won against Slask Wroclaw away and hoping the crisis is over they now believe they still have chances for a European cup place.

For Ruch, the situation is slightly worse. They won only one point from the last two matches being just 5 points above the relegation zone.

The hosts welcome back midfielders Paul Sobolewski (21/0) and Alexandar Vukovic (19/2) while injured Pilar Christopher, Luke, Maliszewski, Kamila Kuzery and Vlastimir Jovanovic will have to watch the game from the stadium. The injured players are not so important for the team, most of them being long term injuries.

Kielce will come without three players: defender Bronowski (8/0), defende K. Nykiel (16/1) and midfielder G. Straka (16/1).

Lechia vs Legia

Game to be played @ 16:45 CET

Everybody on Legia after cup midweek game where they won 4-0.

But Lechia already after 1st leg knew its over, in Warszawa it was tough and after 1st goal they simply gave up. They didn't care about the 4-0 result. Lechia already had their minds on the league game. And at home they are stronger.

Not so long ago Lechia was 1.75 dnb, now 1.97. Its better offer and I expect hosts to play better and more determined.

Visitors with one key loss of Vrdoljak, soul of a team, best player and biggest loss. In first round when he was missing, Lechia won in Warszawa 3-0. Hosts full team, Legia as well missing important cb Astiz. Its not easy game, it could end with a draw.

At home Lechia is better and we cannot see them lose again against

Widzew Lodz vs Polonia Bytom

Game to be played @ 17:00 CET

Relegation battle between Widzew Lodz and Polonia Bytom. Both teams are struggling to stay in the league and the outcome of this game may be the key.

Widzew are in a better position having 4 points more than Polonia. The staff and players from both teams are aware that today they cannot affor to fail.

Favourite is of course Widzew, team that is undefeated in four matches while Bytom comes from a 0-2 defeat to Polonia Warsaw.

The hosts will play on Saturday without defender Ben Souheila(11/0) while Wojciech Szymanek(19/0) will be back after being suspended for a red card.

Widzew are superior and should win this game giving their form in comparison with Polonia.

Lech vs Belchatow

Game to be played @ 19:15 CET

Lech Poznan after their semi-final with Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biala (3:2) game in Polish Cup will play with GKs Belchatow in league. Both teams are close in the table, but Lech Poznan will play as favourite in this game.

They have some problems in the defence line. Till the end of the season coach Jose Maria Bakero will be without Marcin Kikut (right defender) and without Tomasz Bandrowski. Probably latvian striker Artjoms Rudnevs will start on the bench with GKS Belchatow. Similar situation had taken place in Bielsko-Biala. Every thing due to travelling to Latvia in private metter.

GKS Belchatow in this game will have much more problems. Coach Maciej Bartoszek will be without his five regular players. Both wingers in this game will be out: Tomasz Wrobel and Maciej Malkowski. Also they will have to dill without two defenders: Jacek Popek and Wojciech Jamruz. The last player who will be out is striker Pawel Buzala. The situation for Belchatow will be very difficult.

The Belchatow squad from the match with Wisla Krakow in last round:

Sapela - Fonfara, Drzymont, Lacic, JAMRUZ OUT - WROBEL OUT, Mysiak, Baran, Cetnarski, MALKOWSKI OUT - Zewlakow.

So we see that three from five palyers played in last game in first eleven. Without them GKS Belchatow will have problems to create some good offence situation under Lech Poznan eleven. So i think that Lech Poznan will win this one and the will be closer to the third place in the league table.

Polonia Warsaw vs Arka Gdynia

Game to be played @ 19:15 CET

Interesting meeting, because the teams fight for diferent objectives. While Polonia Warszaw wants a place in Europa League, Gdyna fights to survive and stay in the league also next year.

Since coach Jacek Zielinski came to Polonia the team didn't lose points. They have a three games winning streak. With this winning streak they came to three points of Slask, the 3rd in the table.

Gdynia also comes from a game won over Cracovia and should want to extend the winning streak to two games and so have more chances of escaping relegation zone by the end of the championship.

The hosts will play seriously weakened. Their top three players are out. Matt and Arthur Sobiech are out and Euzebius Smolarek is suspended because of red card.

A handicap bet on Arka should be a good bet here as Polonia is weakened and Arka know that this can be one of the last chances to save the season.
