Poland Ekstraklasa - Zaglebie Lubin vs Lech Poznan

Written by Betting-RSS admin on 29 April 2011.

Zaglebie Lubin vs Lech Poznan (20:30 CET)

In the other one of the Friday meeting in the 24th round of Ekstraklasa Zaglebie will take on Lech Poznan on home turf. The guests are surely favourites in this last test before the final of the Polish Cup.

Zaglebie's players are hoping to make another step towards ensuring the  maintenance of the team in the 1st league. Currently, the team led by John Urban has six points clear of the relegation zone. Their situation would be much better if it had not lost in the last minute in the game against Cracovia in the last round. Thus, Zaglebie brought only two points from their last 3 games.

Zaglebie is a very challenging opponent in front of their fans. Lubin at home lost only two games this season. Now the players want another win with Lech who in their last two away matches have not won a single point.

Lech still fights for an European cup place, but the shortest way for them is to win the Polish Cup on Tuesday with Legia.

These two teams met 20 times. Seven ended with victories for the hosts while the guests enjoyed the win 5 times.

Zagliebie's coach Jan Urban will field a much stronger team than in the last duel against Cracovia. Midfielders Szymon Pawlowski(12/4) and K. Wilczek (11/2) are back after injuries while defender P. Kokot(16/1) and midfielder D. Dabrowski(11/0) are back after suspension.

Lech will not field the strongest team. Midfielders Martin Kikut(20/0), Tomasz Bandrowski(4/0) and Kamila Drygas(4/) are out due to injuries. Also coach Jose Mari Bakero did not take  important defender Arboleda Manuel(19/0) to Lubin to rest the player for the cup game.

We think that here a bet on the hosts (DNB) is a good choice because like Legia, Lech will be focused on the cup final and might not give 100% today.
