Poland Ekstraklasa - Wisla Krakow vs Gornik Zabrze
Game to be played @ 17:00 CET
The leader from Ekstraklasa will take at home on Gornik Zabrze and they are big favourites to win the game. Until recently Wisla had 8 points ahead of second placed Jagiellonia. Currently, this advantage was whittled down to just three points. Wisla was weaker away from home where in the last three matches won just two points. At home they play much better having not suffered any defeat, more over the last seven meetings ended with Wisla as winning team.
Gornik are 8th in the table. Adam Nawalki's team is just three points behind third place, but Gornik doesn't think too much to play in a European competition next season. In the current season Zabrze takes serious mostly the games played in their own stadium. Away from home they enjoyed victory only twice, last being in September, last year. Since then they won only two points away from home. There is no indication that this will change today.
Bulgarian forward Genkov (7/4) is still not ready to play for Wisla after an injury suffered in the meeting with GKS BBelchatow. Head coach Robert Maaskant will also not be able to count on Rafala Boguskeigo and Gordana Bunozy, but these are long term injuries.
Gornik will be missing injured midfielders G. Bonin(19/2) and M. Przylbylski(18/0) but midfielder A Kviek(16/2) and defender A. Banas(19/2) will be back in the team.
Not much to say here, we don't expekt anything but a good home win from Wisla to consolidate the 1st position in the league.
