Coach Ionut Badea expects a difficult match with Dinamo as he considers it a worthy opponent: “We are going to face a good team. Even if Moti and Torje will not play, this can not be considered a real advantage to us, as they have other players with whom they can be replaced. Dinamo has found its stability and that can be seen on the field, however this does not make them invincible.”
Florian Walter, the owner of Universitatea Cluj who is also shareholder at Dinamo appears to not consider important the conflict of interests when he declares: ”We need those 3 points, I don’t think about pride, because this isn’t the case. All I want is to win this game, I am not interested in any other discussions.”
Striker Gabriel Machado believes that the victory obtained in Stefan cel Mare, in the first part of the championship against Dinamo, provides a "slight advantage" for his team: “we won, so we have a small advantage. This week we are well prepared, and highly motivated to win the game. I am not interested in the fact that Dinamo has defetead Targu- Mures bacause every match is different. I was a backup in the first game between our teams, but I am very confident in my abilities and hope to play this time."
Midfielder Adrian Cristea will not play against Dinamo; the player received an yellow card at the game in Galati, this being his fourth this season. This way, Cristea avoids meeting his former colleagues from Dinamo, team from which he transfered in the winter(1.5 million Euros was the cost for this transfer).
Ionut Badea can not count neither on Ascoli who was eliminated at yesterday’s game nor on Adrian Cristea also suspended. In the first match, Cluj won with a score of 4-3.

Although Universitatea Cluj won (3-0) the friendly match played on Saturday against Ariesul Turda, a team from Liga 2, its performance at Galati was poor, they lost at the score of no-show in front of Otelu. „ Red Caps” lasted only 23 minutes, after which they resigned to the defeat, being dominated in all aspects. Coach Ionut Badea has disappointed shareholder Florian Walter, who was close to dismissing him, so he desperately needs a victory if he wants to keep his possition and regain the fan’s support.

Marius Alexe says that his team has only one goal for this match: those 3 points! “We are in for a difficult game, the opposite team is in training, and has new players…we want those 3 points because it helps us to get closer to the leading positions. A tough period awaits us, with games 3 days apart from each other, a period in which we have to strive to succeed, we have to play to win each game. We hope that at this match we will mark many goals and win. I heard that many supporters are going to come at Medias, we want them to be with us, to support us and we hope we will make them happy.”

Cluj is only 4 points away from the 15th place and they will have to do everything possible in order to win al least one point in this match.
