After coming back from Timisoara Saturday night, Sorin Cartu’s students had a short training session yesterday on Ghencea’s central field. Today, starting with 8:30 pm, Steaua will meet Unirea Urziceni, Steaua’s coach decided that his players start training camp yesterday afternoon.

Narcis Raducan sais that Steaua will continue to fight for the second place as long as there are odds: “We didn’t succeed in winning the last games. The odds for second place are good, we’ll fight till the end for the second place”.

Steaua’s evolution at Timisoara convinced Gigi Becali to keep Sorin Cartu starting this summer, too. The owner from Ghencea is pleased about the way Steaua looks since the arrival of Cartu. “I liked the game of the team when they played against Poli Timisoara, we created chances to score, but we didn’t take advantage of them. I’ve decided. Cartu stays here starting this summer, stop asking me about the coach!” (Gigi Becali)

Tanase, Galamaz, Radut and Szekely are the players that will miss today's game, all of them sustaining injuries and remaining home.

In front of 33.000 hostile viewers, Steaua had a good evolution at Timisoara, where they obtained a goalless draw. The opposing team had no goal chance, whilt cartu’s team missed 3 big chances. Through this new draw, the Ghencea team leaned away from the title, and it’s about to miss the second place, too, which gets them a place in Champion’s League. Steaua has yet to play 2 easier games against Urziceni and Astra, hoping to win 6p. Steaua has one chance of having something to say this seasong, and that’s in the game against Otelul, from the 26th round, if they have 43p and they beat the current leader in the direct game. Steaua has an obvious goal with Urziceni, the winning of the 3p, and the players will certainly evolve with an extra ambition, in order to revenge that 0-1 defeat from the first part of the championship.

Coach Marian Pana declared that his team is not surely a victim in the game played on Ghencea stadium: "Even if we have 4 losses, the team plays better and better. Let's not forget that the actual team was formed in a matter of days before the start of the return round and they didn't have time to prepare. Now we are on a good road and with lots of work we could go home with a draw."

Urziceni will field the 5 players that Steaua gave them this winter: Musta??, Lupu, To?ca, Muzac ?i Onica?. After the first game where Steaua lost, Becali announced that he wouldn't agree that the player given to Urziceni be able to play against their old team but there is no such clause in the contracts."

Unirea Urziceni managed to resist 82 minutes without recieving a goal, but after that Vaslui scored 2, deserving to win the game after dominating the whole time.

Betting-RSS thinks that there will not be a surprise in this game. Cartu is doing a good job at Steaua as seen in the last game. But, odds are low to bet on Steaua.
