It was announced as an open game having in mind that a draw will not help neither of them but today's games comes to contradict us. First half was boring without important goal chances. Guests had only one chance in 6th minute, when a shot by Ferfelea was blocked by Sergiu Bar. In minute 61, Dorinel Popa volleyed the ball from inside the penalty area but it was saved and after 4 minutes Eugen Nae shot from 10m went over the bar.

At the end of the game there were scored two goals because of two big mistakes in defence. With this draw, Branesti will stay in the relegation zone while Sportul Studentesc see their dream return shattered. Ugly game, ugly football.
