Coach Nicolae Manea hopes that the atittude of the team will change till the game from this weekend with Otelul and Gloria escapes the relegation zone: "I hope that sunday against Otelul we will make a good game and we could win. Even if we are at 5 points of the 1st relegation place we have a difficult program. There is no time to rest until the end of the championship. The game with Otelul is very important for us and we need to win".

Owner Jean Padureanu found an explanation of the defeat from Romanian cup from Wednesday. He said that his team lost because there were used players without too many matches played.

Gloria had an extremley weak week, losing 1-2 with Urziceni and then in the semifinals of Romanian Cup with Dinamo 0-2. The loss with Urziceni makes them tremble  for their place in Liga1 because there are only 5 points between them and the 1st relegation spot. They need to win the game with Otelul, because they will make everything difficult if they not and Craiova wins at Brasov.

Otelul Galati

General manager Marius Stan and coach Dorinel Munteanu organized a press conference at Galati in which they talked about the game they have with Gloria Bistrita. First was the club president: "We are happy that our opponents rest players for the games with us. That means that they appreciate us and that we are an important team in the championship. I hope our players will make a good performance with Gloria".

Dorinel Munteanu doesn't know if he will be thankfull for only a point from this game.  For the game with Gloria, Dorinel cannot count on his most experienced forward, Gabriel Paraschiv.

Although they had 3-1 in the 86th minute Otelul settled with a draw in the end. The players lost 2 big points. There are still 7 rounds to go and Otelul needs to get the three points today. But, we need to have in mind now that both the other contenders didn't win yesterday. Vaslui lost 0-1 and Timisoara drew 0-0.

This will be a close game here and by the looks of things, Otelul could do with only a draw. Gloria could be in big trouble if they will not win today.
