Coach Marius Sumudica wants his team to collect 6 points from the games with Sportul and Pandurii: "I want that till the game with Steaua we have 52 points and the team will be almost sure to catch a European Cup place. Sportul is a good team, they doesn't deserve to be bottom placed in the league. We need to be careful. We are favourite although we have problems in the team."

Julian Spadacio made the first declaration to the press since he left to Brasil after he accused Rapid he didn't recieve 3 months salary. Although being payed, he is not sure that he will be back to the team: "I arrived in Brasil, everything is beautiful and we wait Easter. I heard that the debts were payed, but I don't know if I am going back. My agent will meet with manager Dinu Gheorghe and will discuss. By then we will know if I will be back or not."

At Rapid there are still problem with the payments. The players recieved their salary but the administrative and technical staff didn't and also the attitude owner Copos has for them is ugly. Left behind in the past, the staff didn't think that this will happen again, moreover Easter is here.

Rapid went to Ploiesti with the thought of getting at least a draw and obtained it until the end. Rapid has as objective to finish on places 4 or 5 to catch an European Cup place. They would need to win maximum points from the games with Sportul and Pandurii.

Coach Gheorghe Multescu declared that Sportul can produce a surprise: "I've said it a million times, Sportul doesn't deserve the last place. If I would have been at the team fromt he start and we had a good goal keeper we would have fought for European Cups. Unfortunatley there are also financial problems and players that think to leave after the season ends. Now they have the chance to show what they've got. If we win with Rapid and in the next games they will surely get some good offers for them. We go at Rapid to play our best game. Rapid has it's own problems and for me it wouldn't be a surprise if we win there."

Midfielder Valentin Negru is back in Regie after 7 years of playing at Rapid, Otopeni, Poli Iasi and Branesti and hopes that his first team will win at Rapid. Finally the crazy bunch is back. I found Farmache, Irimia, Maxim, Cruceru still at the team.
