Dusan Uhrin Jr. declared that 1st place they have at this moment doesn't mean celebration time: "We don't have a motive to smile yet, there are 5 though rounds ahead of us, we cannot celebrate yet. Brasov is a team that plays well in attack and they are dangerous from set pieces, but we need to show we want to win. We didn't win at home for a long time and we want to get that win already. Owner Marian Iancu criticized forward Ianis Zicu because his form is not convincing in the last rounds and he said he has this problem because has put some weight.

FC Timisoara obtained an important win at Medias, winning 2-1 with u Cluj, a team that they feared. Coach Dusan Uhrin put an end to a 6 game searie without managing one win. With this win they went on top of Liga1 and hope to continue the same in the next 5 rounds.

Coach Antonio Conceicao declared that he is aware that the game with Timisoara will be difficult for his team. "We will play with a title candidate, it will not be easy. We will play our chances and hope to get a good result. I feel the fatigue of my team and I appreciate the effort they pose in front of every game. We don't have a big team to rotate players."

FC Brasov left for Timisoara on thursday without Diego Gaucho, injured and Attila Hadnagy, suspended.

FC Brasov has done well in the relegation fight winning 6 points from 6 with other teams that fight to stay in Liga 1. They have only one objective left and that is winning in the semifinal of the cup with Steaua, in the league playing more relaxed having 11 points more than the last salvation place.

We think that Timisoara will get at last the home win they were waiting for and it is possible they will do it in great fashion because they meet a team that has nothing to play for anymore, a team that has players with fatigure problems, a team that thinks more of the game with Steaua in the cup than this one in the league.
