Although being down one goal in the game with Sportul, Targu-Mures managed to play better in the 2nd half and winning 2-1 at the end of the game. The win came in extra time and it was very precious, saving them even mathematically from relegation. So, the newly promoted team managed to reach their objective with 4 rounds till the end. Now the players can enjoy some relaxing games. They will play with Rapid and Steaua after this game.

Pandurii Targu-Jiu

Petre Grigoras doesn't forgive bad referees and also the people from Rapid that he accuses to fix the games. "I am still angry, how can i get passed? We had 4 clear actions where we were disadvantaged, it's incredible! It is not possbile that Rapid win a game like this on our stadium while in the first game with them we had 2 goals canceled in Giulesti."

But Pandurii have little time to moan about the points lost with Rapid because tomorrow they will play an important game at Targu Mures. Coach Petre Grigoras cannot count on midfielder Bacila (22/4), sent off in the game with Rapid while Viera recievede the 7th yellow card this season and it's suspended. "Unfortunatley we cannot count on defender Chiriches(23/0), important first team player, but I hope we can get him back for our two last games. Defender Cardoso(14/0) is injured. We will play with what we have. It will be though, but I believe and hope we can get togheter because I don't want this team to drop anymore in the league." declared Panduri's coach.

After thursday night when Pandurii managed 1-1 with Steaua, they didn't win one point with Rapid losing the game 1-0. Bad referee decissions and a bad day all led to this outcome. Through this loss, Grigoras's team is again not sure that they will be saved from relegation because Craiova won his game with Urziceni and are now 5 points away. This advantage has to be well preserved the next rounds. They go at Mures to get at least a draw.

FCM Targu-Mures - Pandurii Targu-Jiu is a game where there is stake only for the guests. After 2-1 with Sportul, Targu Mures is mathematically saved from relegation while the remaining games are played just for honour and pride. Guests won only 1 point from the last 3 games and begin again to worry about their place in Liga 1.
