Turkey Superlig - Saturday preview
Karabukspor vs Sivasspor
Game to be played @ 14:00 CET
Kardemir Karabükspor are safe in mid-table and look to have lost motivation as they have nothing else to play for this season. Karabuk lost their game at home last week. This season they won lots of points at home and I believe it wont be acceptable for them to lose 2nd time in a row at home.
Sivasspor meanwhile have got themselves out of the relegation zone and have one of the best forms in the league in doing so. They are unbeaten in their previous 5 games and even a point here could help cement their place in the Turkish super league. Sivasspor have been full of drive recently and recent acquisition of Kamil Grosicki has turned out to be a crucial signing with the Polish international netting 5 goals in 7 appearances.
It is expected a game with lots of goals and maybe a draw by the end.
Bursaspor vs Manisaspor
Game to be played @ 16:00 CET
Bursaspor and Manisa have been awful recently, neither team has managed a win in their previous 5 games, its more understandable for Manisa as they have achieved mid table safety.
However, its been a real surprise for the reigning champions Bursa who were until their dip in form still in the title race. Their new transfers haven't settled in well and have disrupted the teams balance, making them slower and less dangerous on the wings and counter attacks. The club had a meeting mid week, confirming the manager Ertugrul Saglam would stay and as a result he's been telling the media his team will be looking to clinch the third position. Bursaspor as bad as they have been have more motivation going into this game, being at home with their great home support gives them an additional edge.
This is a risky play however, predicting Bursaspor to win.
Galatasaray vs Kaiserispor
Game to be played @ 19:00 CET
Galatasaray may be going through the worst season in their league history however, Kayserispors astronomical drop in form makes Galatasaray look pretty good in comparison.
Kayseri have lost their last six games on the trot, they have looked hopeless on the field, the team lacks a goalscorer, the midfield organization has been awful and their defense has been atrocious. Galatasaray won their previous game with Arda Turan making a sensational return after his long injury. This is also a risky game, however, considering Galatasaray are in potential relegation trouble and playing at home they will be more motivated and have a squad capable of beating this Kayseri team in disarray.
This game will be like making peace with the fans for the home team since after recent bad results they finally got a win against Manisa last week and just before the game against Besiktas next week away from home the fans will be cheering for the team and Arda who may leave to Atletico Madrid at the end of the season. The new stadium will most probbaly be close to full at the time of the game. Moreover Baros is back in the team and that gives a big boost to the team.
Galatasaray to win is the best prediction here.
