Roddick's presence at the French Open in doubt

Written by Diana on 18 May 2011.

American Andy Roddick withdrew from the Open de Nice because of shoulder injury and is doubtful for the French Open

"It is painful more when I am hitting backhands and forehands than when I am serving, and there is little bit of tendinitis", said Roddick. "I was already injured last week in Rome and I had to withdraw from the men's doubles final. I don't know yet if I will be able to play at Roland Garros and I think that you can't play a Grand Slam if you're not 100 percent”, continued the tennis player.

He added “ I’m not going to take a risk if I’m risking months and months and months of injury.”
