Andy Murray vs. Viktor Troicki match suspended due to bad light

Written by Diana on 31 May 2011.

The highly entertaining Andy Murray vs. Viktor Troicki match has been suspended due to bad light at the Suzanne Lenglen Court after both players split two sets each after fabulous four sets of tennis.

The fourth round clash between Andy Murray and Viktor Troicki has been suspended due to bad light after the completion of 4 sets on Suzanne Lenglen Court late Monday evening.

Murray opened the match on a bad note and lost serve twice to give Troicki a solid 5-0 lead which he converted after a while to win the first set 6-4. The second set once again turned out in Troicki's favour who pocketed a crucial break in ninth game to race to a two sets to love lead.

The third set gave Murray no relief when he lost his serve early on, only to break back and win the set by 6 games to 3. The commencement of the fourth set indicated that the match will probably not see a finish tonight as Murray grabbed another crucial break to eventually wrap the set 6-2

The day's play commences tomorrow at 2 pm local time on both Suzanne Lenglen and Philipp Chatrier courts.
