ATP Queen’s – Men’s Sunday Preview
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga vs. Andy Murray
Rain is expected today in the final match of the AEGON Championships in London.
It will be crowded as home favorite will be on court, Andy Murray. The Britt made a solid match against Andy Roddick, he served well and was sharp on returns while on the ground he made the better shot selection. Murray should keep the same strategy as also Tsonga is a powerful server but he came in better form then Roddick. H2h is 4-2 for Murray, 1-1 on grass with the last meeting last year at Wimbledon where Murray won in four sets. The Frenchman is coped with a big serve and followed that to the net and Murray need to go for a bit more on his ground strokes and get more depth behind the forehand to hold Tsonga aggressiveness. Another key of the match should be Britt’s serve, if he will serve like he did against Roddick he will have the upper hand, Tsonga has wins over other solid defenders like Simon, Rochus, Djokovic, Ferrero, Hewitt and isn’t without chances, but Murray looks steadier in a match that would be interrupted by rain.
