Wimbledon 2011 – Monday is a big day!
The top stars on the men's and women's tour will be idle on Sunday but Monday promises to be huge as all surviving players will be in action.
Wimbledon will be idle today, Sunday June 26th, as the All England Club, following tradition, does not play tennis on the middle-Sunday of its Grand Slam tournament. While today there is no tennis to follow at the All England Club, Monday, in contrast, promises to be intense. The schedule will include action from all 32 players remaining in the men's and women's draws combined with both Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic scheduled for action.
Nadal will play a blockbuster fourth round match against Juan Martin Del Potro and Novak Djokovic will play a not-so blockbuster match aginst Michael Llodra.
Roger Federer will also be in action against Mikhail Youzhny while Andy Murray will face Richard Gasquet.
On the women's side top ranked Caroline Wozniacki will face Dominika Cibulkova while Maria Sharapova will face Shuai Peng. Serena Williams faces a true test in Marion Bartoli while Venus Williams will face the player she lost to last season in Tsvetana Pironkova.
