Tommy Robredo vs. Fillipo Volandri

Only one match for today in the SkiStar Swedish Open. The winner from 2008 and 2006, Spaniard Tommy Robredo will play with Italian Filippo Volandri in first round.

Robredo has a good record here reaching at least semi-finals seven times, once stopped in quarter-finals from ten apparitions. Volandri too reached a semi-final here but back in 2007. They came in different conditions, Robredo is hampered by injuries retiring five times since February and has only one match in the last three months at Wimbledon in first round, while Volandri played on clay recently even that without a great success.

H2h is 4/3 for the Spaniard with all meetings on clay but the most recent one is back in 2007. Only one match for today but not an easy task for bettors, Robredo needs some time to found his rhythm but he is in one of his best tournaments while Volandri needs to keep the ball in play and force long rallies as Robredo will need to attack to finish the points quickly.

Robredo stated that he is ready for action, the match looks a close affair.
