Top seed Novak Djokovic holds a 6-1 series advantage over quarterfinal opponent Gael Monfils. Friday signals their fifth meeting on hard-court. Djokovic reached the final eight by virtue of his straight-set ousting of Marin Cilic. The 24-year-old came through the round of 16 Thursday afternoon, 7-5, 6-2. The World No. 1 is bidding for his 51st victory of the season.World No. 7 Gael Monfils survived a challenging round of 16, having rallied to oust 12th seed Viktor Troicki in three sets. The Frenchman saved three match points on his way to a 3-6, 7-6(0), 7-6(5) win.
He looks to make his fourth ATP World Tour semifinal of the year.
